ACS Poli Timișoara

ACS Poli Timișoara is a professional Romanian football club from Timișoara, Timiș County, Romania. Founded in 2012, the club regards themselves as the successor of the original club founded in 1921, FC Politehnica Timișoara, who went bankrupt and was dissolved, following the 2011–12 season.
==History==

In the summer of 2012 the club ACS Recaș was moved to Timișoara and renamed ''ACS Poli Timișoara''〔(Robu a elucidat misterul: "Nu-i spunem Politehnica, îi spunem Poli!" )〕〔(ACS Recaş a primit acordul lui Marian Iancu pentru a purta denumirea ACS Poli Timişoara )〕 after the dissolution of FC Politehnica Timișoara.〔(A treia operaţie estetică! AC Recaş se mută de luni pe "Dan Păltinişanu" )〕 Valentin Velcea continued as head coach.〔(Velcea, reconfirmat ca antrenor la Timişoara! Ce a spus primarul după întâlnirea cu jucătorii )〕 The club received most of its budget for the upcoming season from the local authorities.〔(ACS Recaş, transformată în ACS Poli, trăieşte din bani publici: CLT i-a dat 4 milioane de lei! )〕
On 7 December 2012, Nicolae Robu, mayor of Timișoara, announced that ACS Poli has received, free, from Marian Iancu, FC Politehnica Timișoara's badge, history, records and colours 〔(Marian Iancu a cedat gratuit palmaresul Politehnicii Timişoara! )〕 and that it can use them starting with the 2013–14 season.〔(ACS Poli s-a transformat în Politehnica Timişoara! Iancu le-a cedat culorile, denumirea şi palmaresul )〕 However, due to the complications of the legal formalities and because of the FC Politehnica's debts, the team will play as ACS Poli in the 2013–14 season.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.pressalert.ro/2013/06/exclusiv-marian-iancu-explica-de-ce-acs-poli-nu-va-juca-in-alb-violet-la-sase-de-luni-de-la-anuntul-triumfalist-al-primarului-robu-despre-recuperarea-culorilor-si-palmaresului/ )〕〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.pressalert.ro/2013/07/acs-poli-si-a-prezentat-noile-echipamente-fara-urma-de-violet-galerie-foto/ )〕〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.gsp.ro/fotbal/liga-1/planuri-mari-la-acs-poli-timisoara-ce-a-promis-primarul-nicolae-robu-404626.html )
At the end of the 2012–13 Liga II the club promoted to the Liga I, but the club got relegated the following year, finishing 16th out of 18 teams in the 2013–14 Liga I season.
In the 2014–2015 Liga II season, ACS Poli sealed the league win with four matches left to play, ensuring promotion once more to first division of Romanian football.
